I often wonder, why do i bother to try and produce art? The answer i think, is that when i die nothing of me will be left behind. However if one day someone stumbles upon this website and views my art then part of me will still exist. I have a 2 year old son,who will live long after im gone. i like to think he will be proud of me for trying to do something meaningful . I hope he will see bits of me in my work that i cant explain to him in words. I hope he will enjoy art of all kinds just as much as me. I hope he will show his kids a drawing or a manipulation i have done,even if he or they think its terrible at least apart of me will exist fo

I can't seem to improve. I would like to see that I'm progressing. But I think I just don't have the ability to actually achieve the level I want too. I am writing a novel, and would love to draw the charachters and lanscape I imagine...but I can't ....so frustrating!!!

That's ok, your drawings are amazing!! Any tips you could give me to help me improve would be great.
Thanks! Well, I always say that details and shadows are really important when you draw, so if you just focus on that and have patience I think you can improve. And also not to be afraid of "going dark" because if you do that, the drawing will get more contrast.
